Yip I know what you mean Mitti, here's the same picture in perspective:

By the way please make sure to credit photo's & text as its a public forum and so people can find the stuff.

I have been trying to get my head around all the various players in this whole project & have made a list which helps me start to understand the structure. Hopefully useful to you. I have copied text from Mitty and Tam's reports to help too:

Client:
bought by Ealing Council in 1997 (Formerly Kensington & Chelsea playing fields)

Competition stage design team and Consultation ‘overseers’
as proposed by
competition winner Art2Architecture in 2000, became Form Associates
(Consisting of (Artist) Landscape Architect Peter Fink and Architect Igor Marko)

["In the period from 2000-2002, FoRM Associates carried out an extensive
community program [sic] involving several thousands of people, participating and
contributing to masterplan the development." ELA 09/2011; "thousands of residents
involved in consultation" Peter Fink in Green Places, 02/2007]

 Construction stage design team
LDA (they took over from Form Ass’. Form Ass’ were sacked in 2006. Still lead by Peter Fink according to ‘London Garden Trust http://www.londongardenstrust.org/index.htm?features/northala.htm

 Engineering
Techniker/ Peter Brett Assoc.

Paul McKenzie ACinstCES survey director of McKenzie Geospatial Surveys undertook the leading role in the geospatial engineering of the park.

are these linked to the previous companies on the above line?

‘He (Paul) was first involved in the project at contract tender stage with the company CJ Pryor (contract) ltd in 2002.’

 Ecologist
Peter Neal Associates

 Project Manager
EDAW

 Contractors

Civils contractor CJ Pryor  and Landscape contractor CR Swift

‘He (Paul) was first involved in the project at contract tender stage with the company CJ Pryor (contract) ltd in 2002.’

‘From listening to Paul it is clear that the job was not simple in anyway, he says “the construction of the conical mounds was a challenge.” The material, as it was being placed progressively to the top of each mound would create boulders that rolled down the 1in3 gradient slopes and would then destroy the site batterails which radiated out from the centre. This required constant rechecking and engineering from both Paul and the rest of the team.’

Here is Tam's NB email from the last meeting:
Notes of/actions from our meeting on Friday:
1. We have 8 weeks until hand in of the report on 11 March; we don't know when the presentation will be scheduled.
2. We discussed producing a diagram of how we are breaking down work - to be completed.
3. We agreed that we would focus first on Part 1 of the brief: summary of the project and design team
4. ACTION - All to continue to research project & design team; agreed that we would each look at this from the point of view of one of the design team members:
- Matt - Ecologist (Peter Neal Associates)
- Kevin - Contractor (CR Swift/CJ Pryor)
- Tam - Consultation (Art4Space/ Northolt Extended Schools Project/ Ealing Council)
- Mitti - Engineering (Techniker/ Peter Brett Assoc.)
- Elena - Competition stage design team (Form Assoc. (known as Art2Architecture at the time)
- Valentinos - Client (Ealing Council)
- Victor - (after discussion on the train into London) Construction stage design team (LDA)
- Cristina - that leaves Project Manager (EDAW). If you want to swap, let us know as soon as possible
and write a one page summary of the project from that team member's viewpoint by Fri 1st Feb. Cover all relevant bullet points under (1) in the brief.
5. Also start to list questions for next stage of research, including talking to team members.
6. Next meeting: 2pm Friday 1st February.
We didn't discuss:
- Visiting the site?
- Does anyone have any contacts at any of the firms listed above?
Let me know if I've missed anything or got anything wrong...
Regards
Tam

On the 2nd last point - lets visit the site - when are people availible?

Just a couple of images with contained information that might be helpful for all sections for all of us, well as a starting point at least... although it is mostly about the engineering part...
Hope it will be useful

Here we are again...
The blog wasn't a bad idea in the end... it made me do some work in spite I feel like a wreck due to my flu that hit me this week - and I can't even enjoy my new motorbike - which is really serious!!

May I just say that it was finalised in 2007 rather than 2008?
However it is contradictory as on the LI website it says:
Contract value£6m
Completion date2008
Project team
Lead designers: FoRM Associates
Ecology: Peter Neal
Engineering: Techniker Ltd and Peter Brett Associates
Landscape design: EDAW and FoRM Associates
Project management: EDAW

In 2008 it received an award:

... and I couldn't help myself from posting this beautiful image:

Northala Fields Group, a group of MA Landscape Architecture Students investigating the formation of the Northala Fields Project in Ealing, North West London. Consisting of Cristina, Victor, Matt, Elena, Dumitru, Valantinos, Tamasin and Kevin.

http://www.gardenvisit.com/garden/northala_fields_country_park:
Northala Fields is a country park beside the A40 with four circular artificial hills. It was designed by the urban design and landscape architecture firm FoRM Associates. The landforms were built with 65,000 lorry loads of waste material from the demolition of the old Wembley Stadium (closed in 2000). The name 'Northala' was used for this site in the Domesday book (1086). Creating the hills provided a disposal site for the rubble, which paid for the new park. '
